Sunshine Diner in Fredericton

Breakfast is fair price and standard. As with most diners you smell onion-you when you leave. Busy place though on Saturday mornings but fairly quick so no long waits. I don't know if the service was slow or if the wait staff saw that we were there for a meeting as well so left us alone. Other tables moved pretty quickly so I'm leaning towards that.

Excellent little diner. The breakfast special was filling and came with bottomless coffee. Location right across from the Delta was convenient too.

Amazing old school breakfast diner. The 2 ladies running the place are amazing. Excellent service and great breakfast. Enjoy these places while they are here.

A great place to sit down, eat some food, and let time pass you by. It's so calm in there that I could fall asleep if I was comfortable enough. You can't get that at McDonald's. The food is good and cheap. I just wish there were more places like it these days.

Nice quiet spot to eat with friends or family , home cooked meals without the deep fryer. The hashbrown poutine is to die for . Great staff that are very friendly . Breakfast is their speciality but they have great dishes for all meals of the day.

It's very homey.The prices are very reasonable.The service is outstanding and youmcan talk to who your with without having to holler over a very large crowd.Imused to go to the Cabin Restraint but it's just way to noisey.Sunshine Diner will be my gomto place now.

Lunch was ok, but not great. The staff were very friendly so I'll give it a 4 star rating. Without the great staff, I would give it a 3.

I love coming to eat at the Sunshine Diner the staff is very friendly. For me it felt like home dishes and a very good environment that feels more like not a restaurant but home.

A fantastic and classic Diner experience with great local history displayed on the walls.

First time here one of the last Traditional dinners left in Fredericton. Great prices good portions. Had the breakfast special; scrambled eggs with ham sausage or bacon toast, home fries or baked beans. For 8.99 includes Coffee, btea or Glass of juice. It's serve your own bottomless coffee and water. Nice atmosphere with groups of people chatting about the world. Definitely will be coming back the next time I want a home style meal.

Old-style diner with counter seating as well as tables and booths and get your own coffee and drinks. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Great breakfasts.

Went when it was very busy. Maybe they're having staffing problems as they seemed under equipped to handle a full dining room

Great food, great service, great prices... What's not to love?Sidenote: they have the whole covid thing down, I've seen big franchises that have not or will not go to this level to safely serve their customers... Big kudos on the extra mile!!

Very good special, very tasty, simple and healthy. « No fry » zone. The staff is really really amazing. A lot of regular clients which is also an excellent sign. The coffee is free with special and bottomless. There is free parking also. Highly recommended.

If Robert Plant likes homade food he should I recommend he eats there before his concert Friday 😎

Great home cooking and service!

If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t your place. But if you want a great breakfast for a great price, I highly recommend this place. Waitress was very friendly and efficient. Food portions were good. There was also a high turnover in patrons which made it appear to be popular with the locals (a good sign). Will definitely return if I’m in the area.

A tucked away spot with great breakfast, Its an enjoyable place where the staff remember you and are quick on there feet. Always busy but not crowded. A favourite for going out with larger groups.

Sunshine diner lives up to its name! Friendly staff, home cooked meals and fresh coffee! My 3-egg veggie omelette looked so good when it came to the table I didnt have time to take a photo! I always love a good breakfast joint that has flavorful, authentic, and local foods and this place has it all.

Great atmosphere, polite and friendly staff. Good service and terrific food. A must try is their baked beans. They are home made and the most delicious I have ever had. Definitely, my favourite meal to get.

Homecooking, casual dining, and friendly, warm service. Sunshine is a traditional greasy spoon and a favorite breakfast and brunch spot for locals who keep it simple. Personal favorite menu item: The Really Big Breakfast!

I couldn't tell whether it was the dishwasher or the Whirllitzer, but the music selection was great.

They were really homely and the food was downright delicious. Love that you can just pour your own coffee anytime and the people working there had great humour and friendly attitudes.

Very delicious meal. Home made taste and it was a great experience. Only downside is it was very busy (that being said, waitress let us sit at the bar and drink coffee.. we were there at like 12:30 on a Saturday too so it's to be expected) and the space itself has kind of a weird soup kitchen vibe to it but over all, great spot for breakfast/brunch. Lots of options on the menu, low carb options, etc.

Best little diner around! The service is one of a kind, food old school and homemade dessert to die for !
